Awesome. Reminds me of my hometown.

Love the cast shadows and the design of the burger joint. The soup company painting on the wall is a nice touch. Pepsi still does that in my hometown on just about every wall that that doesn't have a door and faces mainstreet.

The curve of the curb into the street is nice and subtle. Awesome work.

Hey, thanks for visiting my blog. As for your question regarding thick and thin brush strokes in Photoshop...go into the brush palette and at the top of the Brush Tip Shape Editor, under Shape Dynamics, you'll find a setting called Size Jitter. Just below that you'll see a setting called Control. Set Control to "Pen Pressure". That ought to do it. Good luck!
